H&M Recalls Boy's Jackets

Comments Off

H&M is recalling their boys jackets that come with an attached compass.

The compass on the jackets can break, posing a choking hazard in small children. Also, the liquid mineral oil, inside the compass can be harmful to children if ingested.

The company has received one report outside of the U.S. of a child chocking on broken pieces from the compass. No injuries have been reported to date.

The recalled item is a boy’s cotton canvas jacket made for children sizes 18M to size 6Y. Style number 93196 is written on the inside care label. On the side is an attached but removable compass. The compasses are copper or turquoise colored and have a clip that attaches on to the jacket.

Consumers should immediately remove the compass from the jacket and disgard it. Or mail it to H&M to receive a store discount coupon.
